430 folks at MMM… the great weather and increased visibility and excitement from the previous week’s incredibly successful Rock & Stroll lead to 288 returnees, 112 new folks and about 30 kids. It was by far our biggest night for the weekly MMM events! It will only get better from here!

Runners and Walkers sent in opposite directions…Our goal was to reduce congestion and increase safety. This way, the walkers can see the runners coming and vice versa. It seems to have been a big hit. Please stop by next week and let a MMM volunteer know what you think of this new approach.

Over 25 folks helped with trash pickup…and were entered into a special drawing for a separate batch of goodies.  Tucson Clean and Beautiful provided bags and gloves. Every 3^rd Monday of the month take a bag with you, pick up some trash and help us keep our downtown beautiful!! Then win a prize!!

“Bring a Teacher to Maynards”…May 3… In celebration of “National Teacher Appreciation Week” MMM will offer a free t-shirt to any MMM Athlete who is a teacher. We appreciate what you do for our children and for our community. Let us know you are a teacher, or bring your favorite teacher with you on May 3. We will provide teachers with an official free MMM t-shirt!!
