We have several new options for you beginning June 7 (some classes available sooner). With all of these options you will check-in at Maynards, just like you always do. Then choose from the classes below. Return to Maynards in time for the drawing and a beer and burger.

O2 Modern Fitness/ Cycle Works is offering a special MMM Spinning Class for only $5 (with your MMM hand stamp.) Check in just like always and then get a great workout from 6:00 to 6:45 or 7:00 in their air-conditioned studio about a block away on Broadway. They will even give you the “MMM 15 minute warning”, allowing you time to shower if you like, and be back at Maynards for the drawing…or a five minute warning, allowing you just enough time to get back sweaty, just like the rest of us.

“Bodies the Exhibition” offers Monday night discount to MMM Athletes…Plan to walk or run early on a Monday between now and August 31. Here are the prices…you must have your MMM hand stamp. Offer good on Mondays only.

- College students…MMM $14 (normally $18)
- Children 4-12…MMM $12 (normally $14)

SECOND ROUTE FOR MMM…coming soon. MMM will add a second three-mile route beginning soon. Watch the website for details. On our first night of the new route Xoom Juice will provide a “Smoothie Tasting” at the end of the route, which will pass by Xoom Juice on Congress, just west of 5th.
MMM Athletes get discount for Meet Me Downtown…here is another opportunity to support downtown running. The TMC Meet Me Downtown 5k Night Run and Walk was the precursor to our Meet Me At Maynards – race director Randy Accetta has a goal of getting 2,000 participants to run and walk, so won’t you please support this great event? This race is all about promoting our city as a great place to live and play – participants receive a free t-shirt with great artwork, a free ticket to a film at the Fox, a free family friendly film by Cinema La Placita, 2-4-1 drinks at downtown restaurants, and great food from Downtown area eateries. Beneficiaries include the Tucson Children’s Museum, the Fox Theater, Cinema La Placita, Imagine Greater Tucson, Greater Tucson Leadership, and the TMC Children’s Miracle Network. Free “Bodies The Exhibition” tickets included in Monday’s drawing…A big thank you to Downtown Tucson Partnership for providing fours pairs of free tickets, valued at $48 a pair. We will include them in four separate drawing this summer. The exhibit goes until August 31 (see above for details.)

Want to walk/run later in the summer?…If the summer heat makes you long for a later start time, check in anytime from 5:15 to 7:00 and run whenever you like. Please be back before dark…or carry a flashlight!
Runners, check out OPTIONAL new route…This is an additional option for runners who prefer to run uninterrupted by traffic or the crowds. It is basically an out-and back run.
Under underpass on 4th and up the stairs to pedestrian bridge over 4th
And continue toward Rattlesnake Bridge. Run 2,3,4,5,6,7 miles, or………..
Rattlesnake Bridge .5 mile
Far side of Basket Bridge 1 mile
Kino exit 1.5 miles
Norris Ave./ Aviation Bikeway 2 miles
Country Club/ Aviation Bikeway 3 miles
Turn around when you are ready and run up 4th Ave. to University, cross over and return to Maynards…adds one mile to the return run.
YOU MUST CHECK MMM WEBSITE FOR DISCOUNT DETAILS….Your route guide will list participating businesses and phone numbers…but no details. You will find up-to-date discount specials on the website only. It’s easy…just click on the “MMM Discounts” tab at the top of the homepage each Monday.
Parking is always free after 5:00 PM in the Madden Media lot…345 E. Toole, just west of Maynards. You can park in the Pennington Street Garage for a $2 flat rate after 5:00 PM.
