MMM HEROES DO DOUBLE DUTY!!
Johnie Castro and Gina Hamon did double duty as good citizens on Monday. While passing under the underpass on Broadway, carrying nearly full bags of trash, they came upon a car stalled in traffic. The two dropped their bags (temporarily of course 
and pushed the car through several on/off ramps to a safe spot. Thank you Johnie and Gina, for making MMM proud!
START TRAINING FOR THE FALL…It is not too soon to start preparing for some fall races. You certainly don’t want to miss these two:
Saguaro National Park Labor Day 8-Miler…Come run the hills of Saguaro: our rolling 8 mile course loops its way through a beautiful cactus forest at Saguaro National Park East in the foothills of the scenic Rincon Mountains. A 2 mile fitness walk &run is also offered, covering a flatter course & suitable for strollers & families. A $5 National Park Service permit is included in your entry fee.
Tucson Medical Center Get Moving Tucson… The 6th Annual Get Moving Tucson is scheduled to take place in Downtown Tucson on Saturday morning, October 9th. Start time is 8:00 AM for both races. This is the 31st running of the annual SAR 10-miler and 5K running race & non-competitive family fitness walk. Thanks to the new title sponsor: Tucson Medical Center.

PARKING…is always free after 5:00 PM in the Madden Media lot, 345 E. Toole, just west of Maynards. You can park in the Pennington Street Garage for a $2 flat rate after 5:00 PM. Keep in mind that street parking is free after 5:00.
