“GET MOVING TUCSON” IS THIS SATURDAY!
This is the 6th annual 10-mile and 5K event, starting and ending in downtown Tucson. Thanks again, TMC, for stepping forward to support this important event. Enjoy GMT and then stick around for Tucson Meet Yourself. What better way to celebrate Tucson, than to demonstrate your commitment to fitness, and enjoy the rich and multicultural heritage of our community.

Although online registration closes at noon October 7, you may sign up with our exclusive shoe sponsor, The Running Shop (3055 N. Campbell). That is also where you will pick up your packet on Friday from 10 to 3. Are you registered? No time like the present. You can also sign up from 6:30 to 7:30 on race morning at 115 N. Church…but why wait?

TEP LOANS BLINKY LIGHTS TO EVERY MMM ATHLETE

We have blinky lights for every walker and runner to borrow and return. You will find a white plastic box with a sign that says, “TAKE ONE…RETURN ONE”. It’s on the honor system, so just take a light from the box before you begin and return it when you finish on Monday. This way, no one will have to walk/ run without one this year. Thanks everyone.


FLASHLIGHTS ARE REQUIRED
Any old flashlight will do. You may purchase an “official” Meet Me at Maynards flashlight in Maynards Market for only $5, including batteries.

BE A MMM VOLUNTEER!
You can’t help but notice how much fun our volunteers are having. Sign-up at the check-in table for next Monday…any Monday. You can work the early shift…5:00 to 5:45 (then walk or run) or the late shift…5:45 to 7:00. You can also volunteer by emailing mmmvolunteer@gmail.com.

Volunteers who complete a full shift will receive three raffle tickets. That’s a deal!

PARKING…is always free after 5:00 PM in the Madden Media lot, 345 E. Toole, just west of Maynards. You can park in the Pennington Street Garage for a $2 flat rate after 5:00 PM. Keep in mind that street parking is free after 5:00.
