MMM ATHLETE COACHES
“GIRLS ON THE RUN”
Meet this fine lady!!

We couldn’t be more proud to
introduce you to Nancy Curran.
“I read about GOTR in the MMM newsletter and I knew immediately I wanted to volunteer.
I have been a runner for over 25 years and it has provided me with good health, fitness as well as being a great stress reducer.
I am mother to two grown young men so the opportunity to be with girls has been fun for me.
Thank you for posting opportunities to serve the Tucson community”…Nancy Curran

TWO PHOTOGRAPHERS NEEDED FOR
ROCK N’ STROLL
Would you like to make a little extra change while enjoying “Rock N Stroll” on April 11? Let us know why you would be a good choice totake photos of the crowd, the bands, the whole happy scene. We are offering $50 for 50 good digital photos of the evening…50 from each photographer. Not necessary for you to be an expert photographer (our current MMM photographer certainly isn’t). Photos will be used in newsletters and website. Shoot us an email and let us know if you are the one.
POOP OOOPS!
NOTICE TO POOCH OWNERS!
It has come to our attention that we have a few pooch owners who are reluctant, or unprepared, to pick up after their pets. We implore you to come prepared. We are all about making downtown better, which includes picking up after our pets. We love having them part of MMM, but not by leaving a “trail”. Thanks!!

Tucson Clean and Beautiful…
MMM Keeps downtown looking good.
by Julie Kluge
Monday, February 21st marked our 16th Trash Night with Meet Me at Maynards. Our numbers to date are pretty impressive.
- 334 participants
- 668 collective man-hours
- Approximately 700 bags of trash and debris removed from the streets of downtown
- 16 monthly reports resulting in graffiti clean-up,repair to street lights, and other maintenance issues
Unfortunately, debris and graffiti are never-ending facts of life in a city. But hopefully when we are out there “trashing” we are sending a message that garbage on our streets is not acceptable! It is only once a month (the third Monday), and we provide the bags, gloves, and a special raffle for participants.Picking up trash is not glamorous but it is a selfless gift to Tucson, its citizens, visitors, and businesses. We have adopted the downtown streets along our route, and there is a city-installed sign posted on the north side of Broadway just before the Rattlesnake Bridge that says MMM owns the clean-up effort! Thank you for your participation, and we hope to have a record number of trashers on March 21st!
REPORT GRAFFITI VIA SMART PHONES!
