Route

MMM offers two different routes.

1.    NEW/OLD YELLOW  ROUTE (beginning January 2): Total distance 4 miles…with 2-mile and 3-mile options

3.   OPTIONAL ROUTE FOR RUNNERS who wish to run uninterrupted.


YELLOW ROUTE: 4 MILES WITH 2 AND 3-MILE OPTIONS

ROUTE DIRECTIONS

4 MILES…with shorter options

Hot weather water stop…El Charro and Janos DOWNTOWN KITCHEN…tell them thanks!!!!

Stop in Shanty for free bottled water.

  • Right out of HC around building to Congress
  • Right (west) on Congress to Church
  • Right (north) on Church, past Pennington
  • Cross at crosswalk and continue on Church
  • Left (west) on Alameda
  • Right (north) at crosswalk to Court
  • North past El Charro, around curve (left) and continue south on Meyer…cross Alameda
  • Continue thru El Presidio Park…up the ramp
  • Cross walking bridge over Congress/Bdwy
  • Left at Scooter’s, thru La Placita to Church
  • Left (north) on Church to Broadway and turn right (east)
  • Right (south) on Scott to 14th, and left (east)
  • Cross 6th, and left (north), back to Broadway
  • 2-MI. OPTION: LEFT (NORTH) ON 5TH, RETURN TO HOTEL CONGRESS
  • East on Broadway, cross Rattlesnake Bridge
  • Bear left on walkway and follow to 4th Ave.
  • 3-MI. OPTION: CROSS FOOT BRIDGE AND RETURN TO HOTEL CONGRESS
  • North on east side of 4th Ave. to 4th St. and return to Hotel Congress on west side.

OPTIONAL RUNNERS ROUTE:

This route is for runners who prefer to run with little interruption. This is basically an out and back route along Aviation Bikeway. Make it as long as you like.

  • North out of Hotel Congress to 4th, left through underpass, left, up the steps and over walking bridge
    • Rattlesnake Bridge                                 .5 mile
    • Continue on Aviation Bikeway
    • Far side of Basket Bridge                      1 mile
    • Passing under Kino exit.                      1.5 miles
    • Norris Ave. Aviation Bikeway           2 miles
    • Country Club Aviation Bikeway           3 miles
    • On return… north on 4th Ave. to University and back adds one mile.
