BE DOWNTOWN ON APRIL 8TH DURING 4PM TO 10PM FOR 2ND SATURDAYS REGULAR HOURS                                       

Tucson, AZ –April 3, 2017- On April 8th, 2nd Saturdays will be back to regular hours from 4pm-10pm.   Congress Street is jumping with people, music, food and activities.  Look for street performers to entertain you from Toole Ave. to Church Ave.   Don’t miss the fun!  All the music is live, performed by local bands and fills downtown with music on the live 94.9 MIXfm Stage at Scott and Congress starting at 6pm. Check the 2nd Saturdays web for start times, schedule of bands and live stage performances at  Vendors and food trucks will be available showcasing their goods and serving all your favorites from burgers to pizza.  Vendors will be selling hand made items for you to consider and much more.  As you stroll on Congress, sample Tucson’s Downtown family friendly, urban street festival.   There is fun for all ages. Some sponsors and vendors have prizes for you to win.  Remember you can be part of the Downtown scene along Sun Link’s Downtown route. Hop on at any stop along the Sun Link corridor to be part of 2nd Saturdays,  April 8th.

The Kids’ Area at the Southern Arizona Transportation Museum located at 414 N. Toole has interactive fun for the kids starting at 5pm and a FREE movie inside the museum at 6pm.  Activities include free rides on a choo-cho and other fun things for your little ones.

Live, local bands will perform on the Scott Ave. Stage located at Scott and Congress.  Plenty of room to sit and enjoy the free performances.  Check for schedule and a list of bands.

WEST SIDE RIDES CLASSIC CAR CLUB:  on 6th Ave.  West Side Rides provides 2nd Saturdays with great classic cars you won’t want to miss. The cars are special and so is this car club that has been at 2nd Saturdays for 4 solid years—never missing a day.  Always changing, these folks bring some of the best rides in town to the city center for you to see.  Cars like the first one you owned or like your dad drove.
